Hello Claudio, thanks for dropping by, well these videos have been sped up so you don't have to watch me draw 3 hours. This way you can see a drawing from start to finish. In regards to the Italian pencil, i think you're talking about the progresso pencil. Its a great pencil for getting deep blacks. The one i use is a 4b and its great but if im not mistaken you can also find 6b which is darker. Well i've been drawing all my life but its just been within the last 4 years that i've taking it seriously.
These small drawings are called ACEO, and they are a bit more difficult than the larger ones because you have to take your time, especially if you want to add lots of detail. Well take care and if you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask.

Hi, I'm truly amazed by how fast you can perform all the drawings, I draw too but with other techniques, well but I do love the classic look of the pencil (graphite). You named before a very pecil that is very black or shady with some italian name, what's it about? what paper do you use ? I consider myself a good drawing man ...since I saw this, I mean it's amazing sometimes I can draw like a a 5 year old boy and suddenly I'm doing birds in 15 min. that look like real decent colorful drawings. You'be been drawing for..10 years 15? I ask becaue now I realize that they're tiny images, that's even harder!.. well looking forward for an answer, bye man..
